If there is a heightened threat of a terrorist attack somewhere in the Netherlands, the Minister of Justice will inform the general public about what is happening – and where – by means of a press release or a press conference. The local authorities or economic sectors where the threat level has been raised will tell you what to do. In such cases, you can also obtain more information from this website.
It is also possible that a siren will be sounded. In this event, go indoors, tune your radio or television to a local channel and await further instructions.
