Is my business sufficiently protected against terrorist attacks?

Terrorists want their attacks to have maximum impact. The likelihood that your business will be affected by terrorism depends not only on whether it is an attractive target or possesses products or knowledge useful to terrorists. Other factors are your business’s vulnerability and level of preparedness.

Your business will be more vulnerable if:

• unauthorised individuals have easy access to the premises because of insufficient security measures;
• your business operates according to unvarying routines that terrorists could exploit (such as set times for loading and unloading goods);
• your business receives many visitors, so that strangers can come and go unnoticed;
• your business procedures, systems, and premises are insufficiently protected against criminal and terrorist activities.
