U bent hier:Home Themes FAQ's How do I know whether there is a terrorist threat?
You can check the current threat level on the NCTb’s website. If there is a heightened threat of a terrorist attack at a specific location or a specific time, the Minister of Justice will inform the general public about what is happening – and where – by means of a press release or a press conference. You can also follow the reports on radio and television.
The Counterterrorism Alert System is used to warn professionals in the public services and certain economic sectors in the event of a heightened threat. The system has four levels or states of alert: a basic level and three levels of ascending threat (low, moderate and high). Each level comes with its own set of security measures.
