Information exchange in the European Union

The member states have adopted various initiatives to improve the exchange of information within the European Union. There are, for example, measures concerning the exchange of information between Europol/Eurojust and the member states. In addition, the member states are in the process of establishing new information systems, such as a European index of non-EU nationals convicted in an EU member state.
