EU Action Plan
In 2005, the EU Action Plan was revised. It is a road map for action in many areas, including cooperation between intelligence and security services, information exchange, the protection of vital infrastructure and cooperation with third countries.
In July, the European interior and justice ministers agreed on several priorities. These include strengthening cross-border cooperation in investigating and prosecuting terrorists, addressing radicalisation and recruitment, preventing attacks and protecting the public and the vital infrastructure, preparing for an attack, and limiting the impact if an attack is committed.
