Th.P.L. (Theo) Bot, Deputy National Coordinator for Counterterrorism (pNCTb)
Theo Bot (1951) has a degree in Dutch law from Leiden University. During his career Mr Bot has held a number of managerial positions within the public service. Since 2001, he has been deputy head of the General Intelligence and Security Service ( AIVD). Previously, he was acting Chief Public Prosecutor for the Zaanstreek-Waterland region. Before that, he held a number of other posts within the Public Prosecution Service. On 1 October 2008, Theo Bot was appointed Deputy National Coordinator for Counterterrorism (pNCTb).
