Training period

The task of the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism (NCTb) is to minimise the risk of terrorist attacks in the Netherlands and to take prior measures to limit the potential impact of terrorist acts. Posts at the NCTb have been designated as involving confidentiality. This means that all employes have to undergo security screening of several months before they can take up their post. The screening process is carried out by the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD). Therefore training period request can not be handled.
