Where can you find more information in the event of a heightened threat? What measures has the NCTb taken to help you prevent terrorism?
The Counterterrorism Alert System is an alert system for the government and economic sectors. It warns the operational services and economic sectors in the event of a heightened threat. This enables prior measures to be taken quickly in order to minimise the risk of terrorist attacks in the Netherlands and to limit the potential impact of terrorist acts.
The aim of this guide is to provide local authorities with a basis for developing a local approach to counterterrorism. Counterterrorism is not merely a matter for national governments or major cities. It is relevant to all municipalities (publication date June 2006 and new version October 2007)
