To supervise the implementation of person-specific intervention, the government has created a management group which operates under the direction of the NCTb. The management group advises the body responsible for carrying out the intervention.
When deciding on the form that intervention should take, the bodies concerned examine the possible impact and/or how intrusive the intervention should be in view of the magnitude of the potential threat. They also examine whether intervention is likely to overlap with any other current investigation or government operation. Finally, they look at the possible side effects on the safety of the person, their surroundings, and those carrying out the intervention.
