Are all the relevant organisations sufficiently prepared for a CBRN attack?

The following elements of the preparation process are in place: 

• procedures and scenarios; 
• the necessary material; 
• training for relief workers, doctors and other personnel; 
• exercises to test responses at municipal, national and European level;  
• supplies of antibodies and materials for treatment; 
• an operational exercise, Bonfire (already carried out in Amsterdam); 
• communications coordination centres; 
• cooperation among laboratories; 
• a national detection system and the necessary equipment.
