What is the role of the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism (NCTb) in combating CBRN terrorism?

The NCTb carries out activities aimed at minimising the chance of an attack using chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear substances. This means looking out for use of CBRN agents, or objects containing CBRN agents, as weapons. The NCTb and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations work together in the fight against CBRN terrorism: the NCTb is responsible for activities before an attack, the Ministry for activities after an attack.
