Are the security measures compulsory?

Each alert level comes with its own set of security measures. These measures are not compulsory, as this would require legislation that has not yet been adopted. The participating economic sectors take part voluntarily, on the basis of a series of agreements with the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.
